overcoming pancreatitisIF you are searching the web for information regarding exactly how you can begin overcoming pancreatitis you have found the right site.

First of all I want you to know that overcoming pancreatitis isn’t easy. It takes changing your lifestyle and many of you won’t want to do what it takes to promote pancreas healing but that is your choice to make. I didn’t want to live in pain and die early so I made my choice to learn what I needed to do in order to begin overcoming pancreatitis.

Second you need to know I am NOT a doctor. I thought I wanted to become one when I was a young boy but I also wanted to be a Marine, Cowboy, Forest Ranger and super hero. I did manage to become a U.S. Marine.

When I became ill I depended upon doctors to diagnose and fix me. Unfortunately I found they were more wrong than right. However, when I located and obtained an appointment with Dr. Langdon that all changed because he persisted until he succeeded in finding the problem, Pancreatitis.

Living with and Overcoming Pancreatitis

Living with recurrent acute or chronic pancreatitis sucks. It’s a daily struggle with good days and not so good days but if you take the appropriate actions and learn to prevent attacks before they occur, you’ll be way ahead of most people who suffer with pancreatitis.

overcoming-acute-chronic-pancreatitisI am going to share with you exactly how I enjoy life, as much as possible, while living with pancreatitis. For example:

1) The 4 steps you must take in order to neutralize an attack within the shortest time possible in order to lessen or prevent damage.

2) What, how and when to eat to limit the possibility of more attacks and damage.

3) The complete regimen I strictly adhere to in order to allow my pancreas to heal and stay healed.

4) The #1 liquid you can not consume and why, if you do it, you are absolute proof your mother should have used birth control.

And a whole lot more.

Remember This About Overcoming Pancreatitis

about overcoming pancreatitisIf you have been diagnosed with pancreatitis you are in a life battle because your pancreas, for some reason, is trying to destroy itself, thereby killing you. This is serious business. Your goal should be to save your pancreas from destruction. You need to win the battle. So think like a warrior by realizing …

“Every battle is won before it is fought” – Sun Tzu, The Art of War.

To win the battle with pancreatitis you must take swift, decisive action by preventing more acute pancreatitis attacks and potential, unrepairable pancreatic damage. Your actions will determine the difference between life and death. Let’s make it life shall we?

Why Have I Started This Overcoming Pancreatitis Blog?

the-cross-Jesus-paid-our-sin-debtI have authored this pancreatitis for ONLY one reason.

God told me to do it.

He told me to share what He taught me and/or led me to find. To share what I have found works (through years of dealing with acute and chronic pancreatitis) to stop acute pancreatitis, heal the damage that both acute and chronic pancreatitis cause to the pancreas and possibly help a few people to heal and live an almost normal productive life without being butchered by some surgeon. So …

If you find that the information on this blog benefits you realize it is NOT me you need to thank. Instead thank and praise the one, true, living, almighty God. The Lord IS the GREAT physician.

All through the Bible (His Word) you can find what can only be construed as promises. Promises from our almighty creator, the Lord God. If you are a child of God (born again) you can claim the promises of God. You can approach the Throne of Grace, talk to our heavenly Father and ask Him for ANYTHING, believing you will receive it and get it. Jesus, Lord of Lords and King of Kings promises this:

And having responded, Jesus says to them, “Be having faith in God. Truly I say to you that whoever says to this mountain, ‘Be taken up and be thrown into the sea’, and does not doubt in his heart, but is believing that what he is speaking is coming-about, it will happen for him. For this reason I say to you, be believing that you received all that you are praying and asking, and it will happen for you. And whenever you stand praying, forgive— if you have anything against anyone— in order that your Father in the heavens also may forgive you your trespasses”. – Mark 11:22-25

That is an absolute promise from Christ Himself. And here’s the deal. God does NOT change.

“For I am the Lord, I change not” – Malachi 3:6

MiracleWorkingGodThis means that God, Jesus and The Holy Spirit are the same today as they were in the beginning. God healed in the beginning. Jesus healed during His time on earth. That means they still heal today. Whether God chooses to simply do His thing, work an outrageous miracle and completely heal someone of a dreaded condition (an absolute unexplainable miracle) or to use doctors, antibiotics etc to accomplish the task makes no difference. He will get the job done for any one of His children because …

“Which of you, if your son asks for bread, will give him a stone? Or if he asks for a fish, will give him a snake? If you, then, though you are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father in heaven give good gifts to those who ask him!”  – Matthew 7:9-11

Rest assured your heavenly Father WANTS you to be well. He WANTS you to be happy.

“For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope.” – Jeremiah 29:11

Count On The Promises of God!

you can count on JesusOver the years I found that I can count on the promises of God. If He says He’ll do something He will. You can take it to the bank. And all He asks is that:

  1. You accept His Son as Savior and Lord of your life.
  2. Trust Him
  3. Live for Him

Do you have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ? He loves you. He stands at the door of your heart knocking. When you open the door and accept Him as your Savior and Lord You will become a new, born again child of the one true, living God. Call on the name of the Lord and be saved. God bless you!

Jesus Is King
He Is Lord
He Lives
He Reigns Forevermore
He IS coming back again
Are YOU Ready to meet the Lord?

sinners prayer

YOU can be ready today! Simply take the first step and Pray this short Prayer:

King Jesus I acknowledge that I am a sinner.
I am sorry I have sinned against you and my Almighty Father God.
I will turn from sin and I accept You Jesus as my King, my Lord, my Savior and my God.
Thank you for dying on the cross for my sins.
Thank you for cleansing me with your precious blood.
Thank you for rising from the dead and becoming my victory over sin and death.
Please wash me clean, make me righteous in the sight of Almighty God, through your cleansing blood and grace.
Please fill me with The Holy Spirit of God.
Thank you Lord Jesus!
My life is yours.
I belong to you and I will serve you all the days of my life.

If you prayed the above prayer you have taken a glorious step!

Your future is secure.

You have been SEALED by The Holy Spirit of God.

You have a place in Heaven with God for all eternity.

How cool is that? And you have the ability to go before the Throne of God and ask Him ANYTHING in the name of Jesus and EXPECT to get it!

That is NOT true of those who reject His Son!

worship-Jesus

Step two
Now worship Him who has saved you, by dying on the cross and has now written your name in the Lamb’s Book of Life.

Step 3
Confess to the world that Jesus is Lord and your Savior. The reason you need to do this step is because Jesus said:

“Everyone who acknowledges me publicly here on earth, I will also acknowledge before my Father in heaven.” – Matthew 10:32

This confession is easily done by posting your faith in Jesus Christ as your Savior via Facebook, Twitter or some other social media outlet. Of course you can also share your faith with those you know and love so that they may also become children of the King.

Welcome to the family of God! 🙂

Step 4
Begin reading the Word of God (the Bible). Set aside time daily to learn God’s word and His plan for your life. The more you read the Word of God the more you will come to know His unconditional love, kindness, blessings and grace. Your faith will grow and you’ll learn to walk in the wisdom of God the Father and Jesus our King.

Step 5
Make sure you find and join a true Bible believing, Bible teaching and Spirit filled local church. Fellowship with other believers is an essential part of being a child in the family of God.

Healing Promises For Overcoming Pancreatitis You Can Claim Today!

God keeps his promisesThere are many promises of God that you, as a child of the King, can claim. Not just promises of health but promises of every good thing that the Father wants His children to have. Here’s an article and a video that will help to determine how you should claim the promises of God. But right now both you and I are concerned about your health. God does NOT want His children to be sick. He wants you to be healthy and happy.

“Then they cried to the LORD in their trouble, and he saved them from their distress. He sent out his word and healed them; he rescued them from the grave. Let them give thanks to the LORD for his unfailing love and his wonderful deeds for mankind.” – Psalm 107:19-21

“Worship the LORD your God, and his blessing will be on your food and water. I will take away sickness from among you” – Exodus 23:25

“So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.” – Isaiah 41:10

“Is anyone among you sick? Let them call the elders of the church to pray over them and anoint them with oil in the name of the Lord.” – James 5:14

“My son, pay attention to what I say; turn your ear to my words. Do not let them out of your sight, keep them within your heart; for they are life to those who find them and health to one’s whole body.” – Proverbs 4:20-22

“The LORD protects and preserves them— they are counted among the blessed in the land— he does not give them over to the desire of their foes. The LORD sustains them on their sickbed and restores them from their bed of illness.” – Psalm 41:2-3

“Therefore confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective.” – James 5:16

Jesus heals the daughter of Jairus
“While Jesus was still speaking, someone came from the house of Jairus, the synagogue leader. ‘Your daughter is dead,’ he said. ‘Don’t bother the teacher anymore.’ Hearing this, Jesus said to Jairus, ‘Don’t be afraid; just believe, and she will be healed.’ When he arrived at the house of Jairus, he did not let anyone go in with him except Peter, John and James, and the child’s father and mother. Meanwhile, all the people were wailing and mourning for her. ‘Stop wailing,’ Jesus said. ‘She is not dead but asleep.’ They laughed at him, knowing that she was dead. But he took her by the hand and said, ‘My child, get up!’ Her spirit returned, and at once she stood up. Then Jesus told them to give her something to eat. Her parents were astonished, but he ordered them not to tell anyone what had happened.” –  Luke 8:49-56

The Faith of the Centurion
When Jesus had entered Capernaum, a centurion came to him, asking for help. “Lord,” he said, “my servant lies at home paralyzed, suffering terribly.” Jesus said to him, “Shall I come and heal him?” The centurion replied, “Lord, I do not deserve to have you come under my roof. But just say the word, and my servant will be healed. For I myself am a man under authority, with soldiers under me. I tell this one, ‘Go,’ and he goes; and that one, ‘Come,’ and he comes. I say to my servant, ‘Do this,’ and he does it.” When Jesus heard this, he was amazed and said to those following him, “Truly I tell you, I have not found anyone in Israel with such great faith. I say to you that many will come from the east and the west, and will take their places at the feast with Abraham, Isaac and Jacob in the kingdom of heaven. But the subjects of the kingdom will be thrown outside, into the darkness, where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.” Then Jesus said to the centurion, “Go! Let it be done just as you believed it would.” And his servant was healed at that moment.

Jesus Heals Many
When Jesus came into Peter’s house, he saw Peter’s mother-in-law lying in bed with a fever. He touched her hand and the fever left her, and she got up and began to wait on him. When evening came, many who were demon-possessed were brought to him, and he drove out the spirits with a word and healed all the sick. This was to fulfill what was spoken through the prophet Isaiah: “He took up our infirmities and bore our diseases.” – Matthew 8:5-17

There are many other passages in the Bible that reveal the power and glory of God. The above are just a few. The point is this …

Since God and His Son Jesus healed the sick and raised people from the dead during those times they can and will do it now for God has said:

“For I am the Lord, I change not” – Malachi 3:6

Ask, believe and Receive.

The Information On This Overcoming Pancreatitis Blog Is Free

Free-info-overcoming-pancreatitisEven though I have been told I should write a book I have no intention of doing so. There is a reason for that which is: I totally believe God guided me to what I have learned. You may or may not believe that is entirely your prerogative but …

I totally believe God led me to the pancreatitis healing solutions you will find on this site while protecting me from death. And taking into consideration He didn’t charge me one dime I can see no other way than to return His kindness by doing likewise.

A couple of years ago, He (God), whispered in my ear to share what I have been taught. Yes, Jesus does talk with His followers (proof), but I turned a deaf ear and disobeyed for quite sometime simply because I didn’t realize how many suffered from acute and/or chronic pancreatitis yet …

Though there are quite a number of online support groups many are have the same members which leads me to believe the market isn’t to dang big in regards to an online income stream. But there is more to it …

Let’s talk about money more deeply because there are those who are going to think I am doing this simply to take advantage of people who are in pain and looking for pancreatitis pain relief and hope.

Nothing could be farther from the truth and here’s why …

I do make my income online but $.40 (40 cents) to maybe $4 in the form of a one-time commission (if someone bought everything, all the products I recommend, through my links) just doesn’t do much for me in regards to excitement or thoughts of riches. I prefer recurring monthly commissions (residual – do the work once and get paid for a long time) and/or larger ($25 – $200) one time commissions. I wouldn’t walk across the street for $.40. And here is the kicker …

I don’t care where you buy the products that I’ll recommend you buy in order to help you in your journey towards overcoming pancreatitis. Just buy them, they work. Buy them at your local health store. Fred Myers usually carries them (or similar brands). Let me say that again …

I don’t care where you buy the supplements.

This is NOT my dream money niche.

If it were about money or a niche I was even remotely interested in as an income producing niche’ I would be capturing your names via an autoresponder web form and sending you messages twice per week with information and offers to generate income.

You’ll never see that (a web form) on this blog or any of my sites dealing with pancreatitis because I am simply not interested. The money ain’t there to justify the time and effort. And …

Once I have shared what I do, I’ll most likely be done because there are only so many ways I can say the same thing and as far as I am concerned this isn’t rocket science. You either want to heal your pancreas or you don’t and frankly whatever you choose is fine with me. You can do with the information whatever you deem to be prudent but keep this in mind …

Whatever you do in regards to information contained on this site you do at your own risk – period.

Are we clear?

Now, let me step back for a second and even though my regard for doctors, in most cases, is not high let me say this …

When Severe Acute Pancreatitis Strikes Your Life May Depend Upon God Providing A Skilled Surgeon

pancreatitisIF you find yourself in a significant, impending death situation (let’s pray this doesn’t happen to you) from severe acute pancreatitis, surgery, such as debridement of  necrotic tissue and other procedures, may be necessary to save your life but aside from those situations I wouldn’t let a surgeon even close to my pancreas and …

Knowing what I have learned over the time I’ve researched this condition I may even have a difficult time with allowing my pancreas to be butchered even when things look that bad because …

Once your pancreas has been butchered it is most likely butchered for life and you may have to live with resulting complications that will make you wish you had simply died. Of course the medical community’s answer to pancreatitis pain relief could be even more butchering such as the Berger, Frey or Whipple Procedures. Once those are done your insides won’t even look like they belong to a human. Of course …

If those procedures do not result in a cure or long-term pancreatitis pain relief, and most often they do not, there is always more surgical intervention available even to the point where they remove your pancreas and you live forever (forever could be short) on insulin injections and prescription pancreatic enzymes. And …

You do realize that none of these procedures are cheap (about the price of a new car or two with one enough to purchase a Rolls Royce) and it is very unlikely that the surgeon, his staff, the hospital or anyone else involved will work for free. So …

Whether you receive long-term pain relief from a surgical procedure or in fact die 30 days to 6 months down the road (death occurs in approximately 1 – 5% depending upon which procedure within 30 days to 6 months) the surgeon and his staff will still get paid. The only one who ever loses is you.

That is the real reason for this blog and information.

To hopefully enable those who have not yet been butchered, do not suffer with severe complications, and who wish to learn how to begin beating  pancreatitis before it’s to late for the opportunity to heal the damage already done.

I am not saying that if you have suffered extensive damage you may not be able to find relief or healing but it will be a much larger, more difficult challenge. And …

I guarantee nothing.

Are we clear?

Ok, great!

The information you’ll read on this blog is not from someone who has simply read about the condition in order to gather the information necessary to write an article or create and maintain a blog. This information is from someone who has been diagnosed with pancreatitis, lived with the condition for a long time (over 30 years) and found ways to improvise, adapt and overcome, thereby winning the battle against pancreatitis.

As you read through this pancreatitis blog you will find information about symptoms, my experience with doctors along with what I think of most of them, the possible complications of the condition, the primary and secondary causes and you’ll also discover what I have learned through experience about such things as diet (what to eat, what not to eat, when to eat, when not to eat), the alternative, home remedies, supplements and I guess what you could call an absolute mandatory regimen I live by in order to make living with pancreatitis a lot easier and I think safer, with less possibility of horrific complications.

So sit back, relax, grab a cup of joe to enjoy while you and I explore the in’s and out’s of overcoming pancreatitis.

Important Note: Read everything on this blog as your time permits. And …

If you need to leave, bookmark this pancreatitis blog or better yet email the link to yourself and place it in a folder named “Pancreatitis” so that you can easily find it.

The reason you’ll want to do that is because I seriously doubt you will find this kind of in-depth, from-the-horses-mouth information about living with and overcoming pancreatitis anywhere else on the net.

I went to the er 2 times in the last 2 years. My sister died of pancreatic cancer last year so at 53. My GI doctor suggested I should have an ecrp done. When I came out of surgery he said good news you don’t have pancreatic cancer. He then said non challontly well we did see some minimal scarring on your pancreas which just means you’ve had pancreatic attacks before that sometimes happens Just be careful with animal fats and drink no alcohol. Well I really couldn’t understand how that could be since I never remember having a pancreatic attack. He told me you just may have thought you had a bad stomache ache, but you have definitely had them due to the scarring.he made it sound like no big deal. Honestly I didn’t take it as being anything serious. I was never an alcoholic. I stopped eating as much red meat but was by no means on a low fat diet sometimes when my family would come for dinner I would have a glass of wine . He said he’d see me next year for another test to catch cancer early if it might be hereditary. Well I didn’t bother going back. I know there’s not much they can do for pancreatic cancer anyways and I’ve had 5 people in my immediate family die in the last 6 years trying to fight various forms of cancer and just suffering I seen no point in going back.
Well I went to the er one night about 3 hours after eating a large fry from mcdonalds and a quarter pounder with pain in chest wrapping around to my back coming in waves. I was diagnosed with 2 ulcers.i kept telling them I had a lot of back pain but all they concentrated on was the heart. I was told to follow up with the GI. When I went for my appointment I got his fellow and he told me from the docs note oh you have chronic pancreatitis and I was completely surprised. He then explained that not all attacks show up in the blood work and then the doc came in and pit me on creon.
I felt like I was in the complete darkness concerning this disease. Honestly I would have been extremely careful if I knew how serious it is. My blood work comes back good. I am afraid to take the creon . And that is my question to you. When is the right time to go on creon? I faithfully have been on a very strict diet and since seeing your blog I will be even more careful. I do have a lot of self control. So I may have a form of chronic pancreatitis that has milder symptoms. My doctor tells me my 2 ER visits he feels were pancreatitis attacks . Can you give me any advice.i am so glad I found your blog.
I have to admit I am afraid and feel very unimformed. Thankyou for any information you can give me.

Hi Tina – I know it can be scary to find out you have chronic pancreatitis but there are things you can do to slow, even stop the progression. One is to quit drinking alcohol. Avoid it like the plague. Watch for it in places you don’t expect. It is found in OTC cold and flu formulas, dried fruits (sugar alcohols – look for words ending in ol such as sorbitol), diet foods (sugar alcohol is used as a sweetener), ripe bananas and vanilla extract.

Learn to eat fat free. This means a total diet change. Learn what to eat and how to cook it so it is as fat free as possible. Food is not your friend, especially high fat foods (red meat, pork, cheese, milk, oil, mayo, butter, margarine, etc). The less fat you consume the better you will feel.

Take anti-inflammatory supplements. Grape seed extract, vitamin C and curcumin. Those three supplements in combination with a very low fat diet (vegan – think vegan) will help you heal the damage you already have and prevent more.

Read this blog. Right now it contains almost everything you need to know. Keep reading it. I’ll add more content as time goes on.

If your doc prescribed creon (pancreatic enzymes) you should take them. I personally prefer OTC pancreatic enzymes but creon does a good job. Sometimes doctors prescribe to much and creon makes them sick. To much of a good thing. The time to go on pancreatic enzymes is when you get nauseated after eating. If the nausea stops once you start taking enzymes you’ll know that you do need them and that your pancreas isn’t producing enough by itself. The loss of enzyme production is due to damage.

      Good luck Tina 🙂
